Ideal Protein Maple Flavoured Oatmeal
Ideal Protein Maple Flavoured Oatmeal is one of those products that just works, warm, comforting, and genuinely satisfying in a way that makes a protocol morning feel less like a compromise and more like a treat. It’s consistently one of the most popular products we carry at My Protein Pantry, and once you try it, it’s easy to see why.
Each packet delivers the high-quality protein you need to stay on track, with that classic maple flavour that feels indulgent without breaking your protocol. It comes together in minutes, which matters when mornings are already busy.
Phase 1: Simple, Satisfying, and Right on Protocol
On Phase 1, Ideal Protein Maple Flavoured Oatmeal is ready to go exactly as the packet instructs. Prepare it with water, let it thicken, and you have a warm breakfast that checks every box. If you like a little extra warmth and spice, a generous sprinkle of cinnamon is a great addition — it adds flavour without adding anything you shouldn’t have, and it pairs perfectly with the maple base. Cinnamon also helps take the edge off sweet cravings, so it’s a smart habit to build early in your protocol.
Keep it simple on Phase 1. You don’t need to fuss with it. The oatmeal does the work.
Phase 3: Build a Balanced Breakfast Bowl
Phase 3 is where a lot of people pause and ask the same question: what do I do for protein at breakfast now? You’ve been eating Ideal Protein packets that covered your protein needs, and suddenly you’re adding real foods back in but still want to keep breakfast structured and on track. It can feel a little uncertain at first.
This is where Ideal Protein Maple Flavoured Oatmeal becomes something even better.
Start with your prepared oatmeal as the base. Then add:
Plain Greek yogourt – a scoop or two stirred in or spooned alongside gives you a solid protein hit and a creamy texture that makes the whole bowl feel more substantial. Plain, full-fat or low-fat both work. Just keep it unsweetened to stay on track.
Fresh or frozen berries – blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries are all great choices. They add natural sweetness, a little colour, and antioxidants without spiking your blood sugar the way other fruit can. A small handful is all you need.
Chia seeds – stir in a teaspoon or two. Chia seeds add fibre, healthy fats, and a bit more protein, and they thicken the oatmeal slightly as they absorb liquid. They’re practically tasteless, so they disappear right into the bowl while quietly doing a lot of good work.
Together, the oatmeal, yogourt, berries, and chia seeds give you a complete, balanced Phase 3 breakfast with protein covered. It’s filling, it takes about five minutes to put together, and it feels like something you’d actually choose to eat, not something you’re eating because you have to.
Why It Stays in the Rotation
A lot of products come and go from people’s protocol meal plans, but the Maple Flavoured Oatmeal tends to stick around. It’s the kind of breakfast that works on a rushed weekday morning just as well as a slower weekend one. It travels well if you need to prep ahead. It doesn’t require anything fancy.
Em and I have watched clients reach for this one consistently across all phases, and we’ve seen it become a staple in maintenance too. When something that good for you also tastes that good, you keep making it.
If you haven’t tried it yet, the Ideal Protein Maple Flavoured Oatmeal is a great place to start your mornings. And we also have a apple cinnamon oatmeal if you feel like changing things up.
Ideal Protein Maple Flavoured Oatmeal brings real maple flavour to a warm, filling breakfast that fits your protocol perfectly. Simple to make, genuinely satisfying, and one of our most-reached-for products for good reason. We also carry the Ideal Protein Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal if you feel like trying something new.

Perfect breakfast product. Absolutely love it for all phases. Mix it with berries in phase 2. And I have it as is during phase 1. Great maple flavour. It’s better than the apple cinnamon flavour in my opinion. Must have as a breaky option.

Perfect for breakfast on phase 1 but also for phase 2/3 – it has the oatmeal feel but packed with protein and super if you want to add berries or yoghurt. It also makes a super muffin with some zucchini inside and again great for phase 1. Definitely recommend.
